Windy City Field Hockey has all three age groups, U14, U16 & U19,  ranked Top 10 Nationally in the latest National Club Rankings. USA Field Hockey recently released the newest National Club Rankings as of  December 2025, following the Thanksgiving Tournaments.  

Windy City Field Hockey has all three age groups ranked TOP TEN Nationally!

The National Club Rankings are utilized to help identify the top USA Field Hockey Member Clubs across the nation.

• U14 Windy City – #6 National Ranking
• U16 Windy City – #2 National Ranking
• U19 Windy City #3 National Ranking

Congratulations to our incredible Class of 2026! 

We are so proud to celebrate twelve Windy City athletes who signed their National Letters of Intent on November 12th!

Some of these amazing players have been part of the Windy City family since the U10 age group, and it’s been inspiring to watch them grow into outstanding athletes, teammates, and young leaders. Their talent, hard work, and dedication—both on and off the field—truly represent what Windy City Field Hockey is all about.

We are beyond excited to cheer them on as they take their game to the next level, competing in both Division I and Division III field hockey programs.

Windy City Field Hockey is proud to celebrate our very own former and current athletes: Madison Beach (Duke University), Reese Anetsberger (University of North Carolina), and Ella Beach (current senior at GBN and University of Maryland commit) as they compete on the world stage at the Junior World Cup in Santiago, Chile from December 1-13, 2025.

These three standout athletes have long been leaders within our club, and their selection to represent the United States reflects their exceptional talent, work ethic, and passion for the game. We couldn’t be more excited to cheer them on as they take the field against the world’s best young competitors.

Congratulations, Madison, Reese, and Ella—your Windy City family is behind you all the way! ???? ??

On a beautiful fall night at Techny Prairie Park Turf Fields in Northbrook, the six-week Sunday evening Roots Fall League Program ended with some exciting action. 

We crowned four team champions in the following Age Divisions:

• Mini Sticks (1st-2nd Graders): Team Red coached by Julia Melio
• Mighty Sticks (3rd-4th Graders): Team Pink coached by Ella Beach
• Fire Sticks (5th-6th Graders): Team Black coached by Sophie Wenk
• Quick Sticks (7th-8th Graders): Team Navy coached by Meredith Norman

Congratulations to our three Windy City Travel Teams at the National Club Championship!

All three age groups, U14, U16 & U19 competed in the National Club Championships in Virginia Beach, VA in June/July 2025.

U19 Windy City Fire claimed 5th in the Nation with a 5-1-0 record. 

In the Dream Pool, Windy City beat New Heights (NJ) 4-2 and Bull City (NC)  1-0 to take first place in pool play. In crossovers, Windy City defeated Freedom Hockey (MD)  2-1 to advance to the quarterfinals. In the quarterfinals, Windy City faced the eventual NCC Champions, WC Eagles (PA), and lost 0-7. In the final day, Windy City beat Mayhem (PA) 1-0  and closed out the tournament with a 2-1 victory vs AIM (MO) to finish 5th out of 24 teams.

U16 Windy City Flame finished 4th in the Nation with a 3-2-1 record. Flame opened the Independence pool play with a 3-1 win vs Mayhem (PA) and dropped to Focus (VA)  0-2. In the crossover round, Windy City defeated AGH (CT) 3-2 and beat New Heights (NJ) 1-0 in the quarterfinals to advance to Top 4. Windy City faced eventual NCC Champions, WC Eagles (PA) 0-8 and went on to have a great performance in the bronze medal game vs Centrecourt to eventually lose in a heartbreaking shootout. Windy City U16’s finished 4th out of 24 in the Nation,

U14 Windy City Spark finished 14th overall at Nationals. The U14’s couldn’t seem to find their groove, but they worked hard and put everything they had on the field in the suffocating heat! U14 Windy City had an overall record of 3-3-0 with wins vs Pinnacle (MI) 2-1, and H2O 3-0 and vs Patriot 5-0. Close games vs Uprise 1-2, Relentless 1-2 and Warhawks 1-2. The losses were all so close and we couldn’t be prouder of the girls!

We are incredibly proud of these teams for their outstanding performances and dedication throughout the tournament.
